I love supporting great projects (as is evidenced with my involvement in The Rockstar Foundation) and I love this even more when friends of mine are involved.
The project I’ve linked to above - KIKI (in development) - was started by Christine Meintjes who has an amazing passion for photography and as she is showing with this project: a great compassion for those less privileged. Personally I love this project, because I’ve seen how much of a difference such seemingly insignificant projects can make within our communities.
I know that Christine & KIKI are looking for donations of any (old) photographic equipment. If you’re keen to get involved at this stage, please get in contact with Christine via her blog.

I love this post! I would add the following “rules” of my own:

  1. It’s not about the money.
  2. Relationships are more important than ideas.
  3. Make sure your definition of success allows you to be happy once you achieve it.
  4. Solving problems qualify you to achieve…
